Spirit Incentives: Only an incentive to get pissed off.
Before our wedding my husband and I got a call from a China ware store. We were invited to go have a look at their products and in return they would give us a gift certificate for two free nights in a four star or better hotel. The deal sounded good and it seemed like not too much was required of us. Well now after an hour and a half of wasted time, a fee of 29.95 plus shipping and handling ($5) we sit here without a vacation... less than a year from our honeymoon, yet spirit incentives tells us that there are no times available before the expiration date of our certificate. First of all you have to book at least 60 days in advance.. so two months. Then 30 days apart for each of your choices... so there's a total of five months. You have a year to complete this, and half of that time is wasted just registering for the *** thing. Five months is a long time to be planning ahead. Unless you are an avid traveler with a lot of money no sane person can plan a trip 60 days in advance just to have it fall through to your next requested date 30 days later. You have to jump through so many hoops and go through so much *** that two nights in a freaking hotel isn't worth it.

SPIRIT INCENTIVES IS A SCAM!!!
I feel like I have totally been taken for a fool. I wish I would of read the reviews on this place before purchasing this so called vacation. I have already put enough money into this that I could of just payed for the hotel on my own. I have picked my dates, and there has been no email or call back. Total scam, going on vacation should not be so stressful! If you want to have a good time just stay away from this company. I will definatly be looking into a lawsuit. DO NOT GIVE ANY OF YOUR TIME OR MONEY TO THIS COMPANY!!!

Spirit Incentives No help
We received a Spirit Incentive for buy one ticket get one free. That is almost not true either. The special deal was about $75 less than me buying two tickets. Secondly they only travel from certain airports to select airports. Not necessarily close to the destination I wanted to go to. Got reservation a month ago. I checked on United today and my return leg has changed on the last segment to the next day. No notification. If I had booked directly with united they would have sent a change notice. I called Spirit after multiple attempts because all the choices on customer service went to a recording telling you to go to the website. When I finally did get thru he said to call United. I can't help you Why would you use a travel agent if this is what you get?

Spirit Incentives Scam! They did a bait and switch!
Spirit Incentives offered us a free stay at Great Wolf Lodge (amongst other trips) for our sitting through a time share presentation, In the end they gave us vouchers that had in the fine print deposites(nonrefunable) that were comperable to the trip we wer offered. To make matters worse they swithced out our origional paperwork that required these deposites. Beware! a well calculated organized scam! The nocost stay turned out to be a cost stay of about $75 per night. A discount but not free as promised! Try to call them and they do not answer their phones! A scam from day one!

Spirit incentives dont respond to calls
My husband and I sat through a four hour spiel with Blue Green Resorts (a time share) in Orlando. Supposedly we won a trip through Spirit Incentives who took our deposit ( A piddling $50.00) Due to physical conditions we had to cancell . Now we cant get that deposit back. That isnt the point. The point is that Spirit Incentives is a rip off. They do not respond to email nor phone calls. They sometimes put you on hold for all eternity and then someone will politely jut hang up the pohne without saying anything. We may never get the refund from them but I just dont want to see some other unsuspecting person get "RIPPED OFF" by Spirit Incentives. Thank you, Helen Wilson, Jacksonville,Fla

They make it impossible to have a 'free' cruise
Spirit Incentives (i.e. they promise a trip if you'll listen to the timeshare spiel) Firstly, you are required to make a $100 deposit and then choose 3 dates, minimum 30 days apart. Then you must wait until 45 days before the 1st date you chose to call in to make the actual arrangements. It is true that you also have to pay any port taxes, so the trip is not truly free, but that is still cheaper than paying for a cruise. However, I was told upon calling that the trip is for the standard room, which is interior (still OK) and has bunkbeds (not the best but OK). To upgrade to an interior with regular beds is $75 per person or a room with a window is $150 per person. So a standard room, still no money out of pocket. BUT, there are no standard rooms available from my chosen port for my dates, so I would have to choose another port and try again. So basically, unless you are willing to pay for upgrades, you will not get this 'free' trip. I cancelled and they are supposed to send my deposit back. If I get that back, then all I have lost was time....

Spirit Incentives Class Action needed
I very strongly suggest not doing business with the company Spirit Incentives. I recently purchased two separate travel certificates, followed the instructions to process the certificates, and was repeatedly denied redemption of my vacation packages due to supposedly unavailable dates, which eventually led my receiving a letter from the company stating that my certificates were void because the registration period had ended! In addition, each time I resubmitted my 3 chosen travel dates, I was asked for more money, which I sent in, believing that "this is the last time" they will ask me for more money. I continually sent letters and tried to contact Spirit Incentives about the this issue, but was repeatedly denied assistance. I specifically asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, but was informed that they did not have any supervisors or managers in the company! I was also told that the only means of contact with this company was through the long-distance phone number. In addition, they told me repeatedly (in my dozens of phone calls) that they did not have fax, email, or toll free phone numbers! When I asked for a refund of my money, they only refunded the last installment I paid and refused to refund the rest of my money. This "business" is a scam and I cannot understand why it is legal for this company to continue operating! I would love to see a law firm start a case against this company to refund the (thousands? millions?) of hard-working citizens that have been ripped off by this company. Please, if you have been robbed by this company, please submit your story so that something can be done about Spirit Incentives--if enough of our voices are heard, then this company will be forced to stop taking advantage of consumers and be prosecuted. Thankyou, a concerned citizen

Spirit incentives..Intentional stall
I have read so many bad comments on this site about this company..I guess mine is minor since it only involves being cheated out of $20.00.Nevertheless it is the principal of why a dishonest Company such as this is allowed to keep ripping people off with no action being taken by any agency or court...My wife and I eached received a $10 gas voucher by our health insurance Company for going to a seminar...when I registered with Spirit Incentives on line, I got the usual "jump through hoops" but finally received an E Mail thanking me and assuring me I was going to be receiving two gas vouchers. This was on March 14th......No word until March 23rd when I received another Email saying I was approved and to go back to their website to "pick out" which gas company I wanted. So...I go back on their site the same day I received the E.Mail ...punched in the certificate number and was greeted with the information that "This certificate EXPIRED on March 19th"... I called their number only to learn that they do npot answer the phone as others have stated here...I plan on writing reviews on all such sites and filing complaints with appropreate agencies. My son Is a high ranking State official in Florida which is where I am and where this Company is located and he is going to persue this Company for me.

Spirit Incentives Wyndham Scam
I went to one of their Timeshare presentations in April. After sitting there for 5 hours, (which was to be 90 minutes), agreed to one of their mini (trial) packages to see if this was something we really wanted before we dove into one of their ridiculously expensive packages. After taking it home, we realized that we could take a 1 week vacation to Florida ourselves and it would cost less that their mini trial package so we decided to cancel. I sent the package back CERTIFIED MAIL and explained to them that we did not want it. They tried to say that they hadn't received the letter but when I sent the copy of the person's name who signed for it, they could no longer dispute that. It took months before we finally got our refund. That was the easiest part. We were also guaranteed a 2 night stay and a choice of several destinations. We chose the Wisconsin Dells as we would not have to pay for airfare that way. We gave them the 3 different dates they requested as well as a $50.00 deposit which they also required. We gave them the 3 dates about three months after the presentation. They automatically rejected the first 2 dates and the last date I had was to be April 20. A few weeks ago, I received a letter from them confirming my reservation and that they needed another $32.00 for hotel taxes for our room, which I sent. Needless to say, we hadn't heard anything so on April 10th, I called to see what was going on since I hadn't heard anything since I sent the $32.00. The girl put me on hold several times and then came back to say that she couldn't find me any accomodations. (This is after having my choice of dates for 9 months. Hard to believe!) I explained to her that I didn't understand what she was doing, because how could I have paid for hotel taxes for a hotel I didn't have. All she could tell me was that she couldn't find me a room and if I didn't like it, I could request my original $50.00 back and my $32.00 hotel taxes back. I was so angry that at first I said no, because that's exactly what they want you to do, that way they get out of giving you your vacation and since our "year" for the vacation was to expire on April 20th, they would be out nothing. I finally said fine because I was sick of dealing with these people for 9 months over 2 free stinking hotel (probably more like roach motel) nights somewhere in the Dells. I told her that I would be reporting them to the BBB but as with all of these companies, by reading different reports on these websites, that they continually get away with this *** and it doesn't even pay to report them to the BBB. They continually scam people and nothing ever happens to them so people figure, why even bother reporting them. At least I can do my part in telling other people to PLEASE, PLEASE, hang up when these people call you and don't even listen to what they have to say. It's a total scam and each and every employee that works there should go home and take a shower because they should all feel filthy, dirty for what they do to people and how they rip them off. Our timeshare presentation started at 7:00 pm and we didn't get out of there until 12:30 am because of the intense sales pressure. And since they get out of giving you your vacation, what do they have to lose? Also, we were to receive 2 free airline tickets providing we stay at their selected (outrageously priced) hotel room in their brochure. Do you thing anyone, including ourselves, would even try to get those tickets? Good Luck. They have absolutely no intentions of giving you those things. IT'S ALL A SCAM. PLEASE RUN, DON'T WALK FROM THESE PEOPLE, WHEN THEY CONTACT YOU!!!

Spirit Incentive Scam on Dates
I was going to be attending my first cruise and made plans for 3 dates I chose thinking I would have one of them awarded. I even spoke to my son about taking off school to attend and made plans. Well today I finally received the email and when I called was told we could not go until September. So much for the date in May, June, and July. I was told take it or cancel. I already had planned thinking this was our summer vacation and my son was excited. He is not able to miss school in September due to a sports committment and the date I was offered was his birthday so how could I leave him with a sitter. Now I look like a failure to my son and he and I were really looking forward to this cruise. I was given the option to call back but I was told absolutely that was the only date I could have.

Spirit Incentives Scams Wounded Warrior
I received a Spirit Incentive cruise when I purchased my timeshare. I did everything by the book as far as sending in my $100 deposit, selecting my 3 dates and never heard a thing. When the third date passed I called them to get updated status or basically ask WTF Over, and was told that I should have called them when the 45 day mark prior to the last date I selected had passed and I hadn't heard from them. Nowhere, let me repeat, Nowhere did a piece of paperwork generated by Spirit Incentives or their website say that I was supposed to call them when the day came around that they hadn't lived up to their responsibility and promise to book my cruise. I am a 100% disabled Combat Wounded Marine that was blown up in Iraq and was looking forward to this cruise to get away and hopefully clear my mind for a week. I didn't expect it to cure my PTSD but was looking forward to fresh sea air and getting out of the house I spend the majority of my time in for a week on the water. I had heard what a scam Spirit Incentives runs but was hoping that I would be one of the very small minority of their customers that actually received what they were promised. I am angry, upset and disappointed because I cannot afford to the cost of taking a cruise and enjoying myself like this offer was supposed to do for my $100. wrosborough@***.com

Spirit Incentives A Total Scam
I attended a time share with a company in the summer and for my time was compensated with a Spirit Travel voucher for a cruise and associated airfare. I submitted the endorsed voucher first by mail and then two emails, then sent in a check for a deposit, and am now in the process of trying to get my money back. The deposit should have been used to hold my selected travel dates: instead, once they have your money you then have to call a number which no one every answers to book the travel vacation. Over the last three weeks I have called over 10 times (leaving the on hold music play on my speaker phone for 30 minutes to over 1 hour.) There is no number for complaints. I will no have to write and mail via US postage to request a refund. I will be reporting them and the orginaal time share company to the BBB and associated States Attorney Generals> I am also speaking to an attorney who is interested in filing a class actions lawsuit against these frauds. Not only have they not acted in good faith regarding making good on the travel vouchers, they lie and sell your contact information "name lists" to numerous travel industry companies. I have been swamped with annoying sales calls and will be also suing for harassment.

The company did not deliver on the offer they give.
Spirit Incentives took the requested deposit and the requested travel dates and did not respond or follow through with the written offer that was given. I checked back with the company website: mystpage.com and emailed them several times. No one was available by phone when I called their number. The travel dates requested have come and gone. A deposit refund was requested and they still do not respond. I had another certificate, but with this kind of service , I was reluctant to use it. I finally got a hold of a person on the phone today and I was told that the certificate was expired.. The service was very extremely poor and I do not trust this company.

Beware Spirit Incentives
We went to a vacation ownership presentation for Wyndham. We were given a certificate for a free five day - four night vacation. There were instructions provided on how to claim the vacation with a notation that they would contact us within 45 days of our first selected date. We completed the certificate and mailed in our check for the $50 deposit. We then did our research as we wanted to pick a resort we really wanted to visit since no changes were going to be allowed after we made our selection. All three of the resorts were on or across the street from the beach on Maui. We logged onto the web site provided and registered with our resort choice and the three dates as instructed. We waited until the screen gave us a phone number to call. We called the next day and spoke to our assigned representative. She said she would put on on hold and check to see which of the three dates were available. When she finally came back, she said that unfortunately the resorts we selected were not available but that she had found one that we could book. She then quickly gave us the name of the resort and I asked if we could take a short period to research. She said that she would wait because we had to make a decision while she was on the phone. We then researched the hotel she gave us on the web. Not only was the hotel not on the beach but on a completely different island!!! I spoke with the representative again and asked if we could check other dates for our first resort choice. She said that once they gave us the hotel we had to either accept or reject that option. She then indicated they could send our $50 deposit back and I said that was acceptable. I don't know if the Wyndham vacation ownership group is aware but shame on both of these companies for using such a bait and switch technique. Beware of this "opportunity".

Spirit Incentives is a scam
We 'won' a trip and went through the sales pitch. We then received our possible dates to pick from and decided to cancel. On March 19 I was told that I would receive the refund in 14 days. It has been 21 days. WhenI called last week I was told it had been mailed on march 28ht. It is now April 9, 12 days later. Unless the check is coming by pony express this is a rip-off. The gentleman I spoke to, Fentell, was rude and when I got angry hung up on me. I called back and he sent me to a voicemail of 'Richard' at 227 who has not called back in 4 hours.
